ATTENTION:

There is a new law in the State of Utah requiring a student to complete all Range, Road, and Skills testing to be complete within 1 Year of completing the Drivers Ed Course.  If you do not complete all of the driving components with 1 year of passing the class you will be required to retake the class.

IN-Person Class
Instructor: Mr Hymas

The in-person Drivers Education course at Mountain View High School is taught during the school day.  This course is only 1 Term and is taught during B5, B6, and B7. Students will take Sophomore Academy (study skills) during the other term to earn their high school credit. Students must pass the class as part of the Drivers License Requirements.

Mr. Brent Hymas is the instructor for this course and has placed the course content in CANVAS. While Mr. Hymas does utilize CANVAS, he also provides information and instruction during the class. Students must meet state standards in order to receive a passing grade in the class.

Students may be completing Range and/or Road during the same term as their class. As such, it is important that students have their Learners Permits at the beginning of the class.  CLICK HERE for information on obtaining a Learners Permit.

If you need to add Drivers Ed to your schedule, please contact your counselor.

The fee for drivers ed is $160
